In 2010, Canyons made major enhancements to the already endless diversity of terrain and conveniences including opening a whole new mountain that boasts another 300 acres of slopes and glades. Canyons also installed North America’s first ever heated lift that envelops you in a weather protective, glare-cutting bubble.
Other changes include relocating the gondola right to the center of Canyons Village, which is Utah’s only approved master planned ski village. There you can refresh your body and your spirit at a number of shops and cafés. Or, hit the new European style Ski Beach, complete with deck chairs (perfect for lounging with cocktails and hot chocolate), or nosh on one of the Beach’s tempting food options. Other enhancements include double the snowmaking capacity, and new on-mountain food delights.
