Snowshoeing
If you can walk, you can snowshoe. It’s that simple.
Just
because there is six feet of snow on the ground, doesn’t mean you can’t go for
a hike. Snowshoes are literally as simple as walking and offer a great way to
get into nature in Park City.
For those who want more adventure, put on a pair of snowshoes, head up the mountain, and find a big untracked slope. Start running downhill, and you’ll find your strides lengthening until it is like walking on the moon. It is impossible not to smile.
To rent snowshoes contact the White Pine Nordic Center at: (435) 649-6249. Or their retail store at: (435) 649-8710. Or Jan’s Mountain Outfitters at (435) 649-4949.

Moonlight snowshoe tours
There are few activities that are more simultaneously calming and invigorating than a moonlight snowshoeing tour. For information on guided tours, contact White Pine Touring.
